I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2013 with a B.A. in Environmental Sciences. After graduating I worked as a laboratory technician at UI researching sunflower maggot fly evolution and reproduction. I spent the next couple of years working in natural resource management and environmental education with Campanario Biological Station in Costa Rica, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and Iowa County Conservation. I came to the University of Minnesota last semester to pursue an M.S. in Conservation Sciences. I am currently working on a project with the USFWS on Karner blue butterfly reintroduction and habitat restoration.
