Wendy Caldwell has been a part of the Monarch Lab since 2007, when she began working as an undergraduate research assistant. After graduating, Wendy spent a few seasons studying waterfowl and doing prairie restoration throughout the Midwest before returning to the Monarch Lab where she coordinated the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project and aided in Monarch Lab research and educational efforts. Since 2013, Wendy has been the coordinator for the Monarch Joint Venture (MJV), a national partnership organization working to conserve the monarch migration in the United States. The MJV is based at the University of Minnesota as well, so Wendy still works very closely with the Monarch Lab.
